Role Summary

We are looking for enthusiastic Article Assistants to join our core Direct Taxation division in Chennai. This role offers hands-on, high-quality exposure across complex direct tax practice areas—from corporate tax planning and international taxation to transfer pricing and legal tax litigation.

Key Areas of Exposure

As an Article Assistant in our Direct Tax practice, you will gain comprehensive, practical experience in:

• International Taxation: Cross-border transaction structuring, tax treaty interpretation (DTAA), and non-resident tax compliance.

• Transfer Pricing: Benchmarking analysis, documentation, compliance, and advisory services.

• Tax Litigation: Preparing submissions, drafting appeals, and assisting with representation before tax authorities.

• Corporate Taxation: Tax filings, tax planning, advisory, and tax audit execution for corporate entities.

• Expatriate Taxation: Tax compliance, structuring, and advisory for foreign deputations/expats.

• TDS Compliance & Returns: Statutory deduction reviews, return preparations, and regulatory compliance.

• Bookkeeping & Tax Accounting: Core accounting support aligned with statutory tax frameworks.

Eligibility & Who Can Apply

• Qualification: Passed CA Intermediate (eligible to begin Articleship as per ICAI guidelines).

• Domain Focus: Strong interest and passion for Direct Taxation and International Tax concepts.

• Skills: Excellent analytical ability, good written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in MS Office/Excel.
